NACSB Celebrates National School Bus Safety Week (2023)

The time has come again! Held during the third week of October each year, National School Bus Safety Week is an active and evolving public education program and an excellent way for parents, students, teachers, motorists, school bus operators, school administrators, and other interested parties – to join forces and address the importance of school bus safety. School districts throughout the country observe School Bus Safety Week to promote school bus safety.

Here at NACSB, our locations went all out for safety week! Locations

participated in their very own spirit weeks with different themed days such as Jersey Day, 90’s Day, and more!

They also participated in the NACSB 2nd annual safety board contest! Each location had the option to participate in a contest where they had to display how they viewed safety, with the winning locations receiving special prizes. The employees were super engaged in the contest; their creativity showed in each display.

Last but not least, to top off the week, employees were given safety pins to thank them for their diligence in providing safety and security for the students. Check out some of the photos from Safety Week!
