NACSB team attends Urban League’s back-to-school expo!

On Saturday, the Dome at America’s Center in St. Louis was packed with nearly 20,000 people. It’s all part of the Urban League’s annual weekend-long back-to-school expo. The event provides St. Louis Public Schools District students with the resources to support and inspire as they prepare to return to classes. The event gave students fresh produce, free haircuts, and more.

It was a full day of recruiting and introducing the youth, their families, and the community to our Missouri Central School Bus Team (MCSB) and our industry. We had the Mayor of STL, Tishaura Jones, the new Superintendent, Keisha Scarlett, and several officials stop by our booth. The special part of the day was watching the children get excited about the school bus; several times during the day, the MCSB team saw lines of kids and parents waiting to get on the bus instead of heading for the bounce houses and video games.
